Submit your logline of 30 words or less for the opportunity to pitch your film or TV series idea LIVE at the 56th Nashville Film Festival 🎥

⭐ Finalists in each category will receive a full festival badge for the 2025 Nashville Film Festival and an entry fee waiver for the 2026 Nashville Film Festival screenplay competition.

⭐ Winning pitch from each category will receive a one-on-one coaching session from an industry professional post-festival. The winning episodic pitch and the winning feature pitch will receive a cash prize of $500.

Last week, NashFilm welcomed hundreds of MNPS students to a free education screening of THE DEBUTANTES, followed by an interactive Q&A with the film's producer Alyse Shorland @ashorland

A coming-of-age portrait in collage, THE DEBUTANTES follows the first group of Black debutantes in Canton, Ohio in a decade as they revive a traditional right of passage, while charting their own path forward.

The mission of NashFilm's Education Screening Program is to inspire students through independent cinema, encouraging them to engage with cultural themes, think critically, and view film as an active medium for learning and self-reflection. Thank you to our partners at @fristartmuseum for hosting!
