🎥 Taylor Lomax: Carol (2015) — “Not a traditional Christmas movie per se, but I never let a December go by without rewatching CAROL. It reminds me of the sweet part of the holiday season’s bittersweetness.”

🎥 Lauren Thelen: The Holiday (2006) — "Mr. Napkinhead, hands down. Bonus films -- Edward Scissorhands (1990) and Tokyo Godfathers (2003)."

🎥 Julia Kipnis: Eyes Wide Shut (1999) — “It may not seem like your typical Christmas movie, but the warm hazy lights and commentary on consumerism make it a holiday staple in my wide open eyes!”

Do you have a great idea for the next hit show or an original feature film? We’d love to hear your pitch! Submit your logline of 30 words or less for the opportunity to pitch your film or episodic idea LIVE at the 56th Nashville Film Festival ✨

🏆 The top twenty-five loglines in each category are selected to pitch their idea virtually to a panel of industry pros, who will choose ten finalists from each category to pitch live at the 2025 Nashville Film Festival. The finalists will receive a festival badge that allows them access to the entire festival, including social and networking opportunities.

⌛ Submission Deadline: July 1, 2025
