NashFilm Announces 2025 Screenwriting Competition Finalists

NashFilm is thrilled to announce the Screenwriting Competition Finalists for the 56th Nashville Film Festival!

Every year, a few scripts don’t just land, they resonate. These finalists have created work that pulses with clarity, risk, and something unforgettable. They moved us. To all who entered: thank you for trusting us with your stories.

Congratulations to all who advanced from the semifinals! The winners of each category will be announced at the Nashville Film Festival Award Ceremony on September 21st, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The ceremony will be held at the Hilton Nashville Green Hills (3801 Cleghorn Ave, Nashville, TN 37215). Finalists will also have the opportunity to have a section of their script read at a table read on September 21st, 2025. Details to come.
