THE 2018 NASHVILLE FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL FIVE FILM SCREENINGS AHEAD OF ITS 49TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL ON MAY 10-19
April 26, 2018 (Nashville, TN) –In two weeks, the 49th Annual Nashville Film Festival will commence with 10 days of can’t miss screenings and events. In addition to the previously announced films being shown, the following have been added to the lineup:

All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records — Established in 1960, Tower Records was once a retail powerhouse with two hundred stores, in thirty countries, on five continents. From humble beginnings in a small-town drugstore, Tower Records eventually became the heart and soul of the music world, and a powerful force in the music industry. In 1999, Tower Records made $1 billion. In 2006, the company filed for bankruptcy. What went wrong? Everyone thinks they know what killed Tower Records: The Internet. But that’s not the story. ALL THINGS MUST PASS is a feature documentary film examining this iconic company’s explosive trajectory, tragic demise, and legacy forged by its rebellious founder, Russ Solomon. Director: Colin Hanks, Producer: Sean M. Past Life (Tennessee Premiere) – PAST LIFE tracks the daring late 1970’s odyssey of two sisters – an introverted classical musician and a rambunctious scandal sheet journalist – as they unravel a shocking wartime mystery that has cast a dark shadow on their entire lives. Director: Avi Nesher, Producers: Ruth Cats, Leon Edley, Moshe Edery, David M.
