Hello there! Are you wondering what’s playing at the Nashville Film Festival this year? Want to learn how to buy a ticket, or reserve a seat, for a screening or an interactive panel? You can do it online! It’s simpler than you think. Come with me. I’ll walk us through it in 4 easy steps.

Step 1 – Let’s Locate the Film Schedule

First of all, you are currently on the official NaFF website. But, you know that:) Notice the NaFF logo up there. You got it – upper left-hand corner. Click on it. That will take us directly to the landing page of the website.

The top header on the upper right-hand corner of the landing page (the large box with the yellow background.) There’s a green button in that box with the word SCHEDULE on it. Select it. That will take you to the NaFF 2015 schedule.

Step 2 – Now, let’s Explore the Calendar

A.  Every film and interactive event in this year’s festival is posted somewhere on this schedule. If you already know what film you would like to watch, or if there’s a particular title that you’re interested in, type the name of the film in the SEARCH ALL FILMS AND EVENTS window, (on the upper right-hand corner) and then press SEARCH. That will take you directly to the film.

B.  You can explore the entire schedule – screen by screen – by clicking on the screen numbers. (on the right – top and bottom)  C.  You can select the SCREENINGS BY NAME or SCREENINGS BY DATE or SHORTS categories (on top) to filter your searches accordingly.  D.  If you press the SCREENINGS BY DATE category, the entire schedule will reconfigure to this Calendar view (below) which I personally prefer. It helps me to better visualize the screening times and the theater designations.

 Step 3 – Let’s Select a Screening to Attend

Alright, let’s go see ADULT BEGINNERS. It plays on Thursday at 7:00 PM in Theater 16. Let’s check it out. To find out more information about the film, press the MORE button in the yellow box. The window (below) will appear.

A.  There we find a DESCRIPTION of the film.  B.  We find additional FILM INFO. (Hey, it’s the Tennessee Premiere of this film!)  C.  And, there’s also CAST/CREW INFO. (I like that Bobby Canavale. He’s a great actor.) Alright, I think we’ve made a solid film selection. Thursday night is good for us. Alright, let’s go to the upper right-hand corner.

Step 4 – Let’s buy a Ticket, or Reserve a Seat, for a Screening

A.  The process for purchasing a ticket and reserving a seat is the same. On the upper right-hand corner, press the BUY TICKETS button. This window (below) will appear:

I’ll see you at festival!
