National Endowment For the Arts
The NEA was established by Congress in 1965 as an independent agency of the federal government. To date, the NEA has awarded more than $4 billion to support artistic excellence, creativity, and innovation for the benefit of individuals and communities.
Tennessee Arts Commission
The Tennessee Arts Commission, created in 1967, encourages excellence in artistic expression and ensures that all citizens of Tennessee have the opportunity to participate in the arts.
The Metropolitan Nashville Arts Commission, a department of the Metro Nashville Government, provides key operational support for NaFF and other Nashville arts organizations.
The Memorial Foundation
For many years, The Memorial Foundation has supported the “Livin’ Reel” program for urban teens. The teens work with professional filmmakers to create their own film which is screened at the Nashville Film Festival.
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee
The Foundation enriches the quality of life in Middle Tennessee by providing flexible and effective ways for individuals, families and companies to contribute to their community.
Established in 2002, the Danner Foundation supports medical services, the arts and humanities, and human services in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
