NASHVILLE FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES OPENING AND CLOSING NIGHT RED CARPETS; NINA KENNEDY TO HOLD NEWS CONFERENCE

NASHVILLE, TN -- APRIL 16, 2007 -- Nashville Film Festival, taking place April 19-26 at the Regal Green Hills Cinema, will host Red Carpet arrivals prior to both its April 19 opening night film, the Rob Thomas documentary MY SECRET RECORD OR HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND LOVE THE BIZ, and April 26 closing night film, the Hollywood-meets-Bollywood comedy AMERICANIZING SHELLEY, staring Namrata Singh Gujral and Beau Bridges. Also, Nina Kennedy, director of MATTHEW KENNEDY: ONE MAN’S JOURNEY, a documentary about the long-time director of the Fisk Jubilee Singers, will hold a press conference about her film on Friday, April 20 at the Festival VIP Tent.

OPENING NIGHT

NINA KENNEDY NEWS CONFERENCE

WHO: Nina Kennedy, director of MATTHEW KENENDY: ONE MAN’S JOURNEY and daughter of longtime Fisk Jubilee Singers Director Matthew Kennedy.

WHAT: Nina Kennedy will discuss the inspiration for and production of her documentary and will be available to answer questions. MATTHEW KENENDY: ONE MAN’S JOURNEY will be screened on Saturday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m.
